Welcome to the Portsmouth & District Model Aircraft Club (PADMAC) website. The club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association.

We fly fixed wing model aircraft (power, electric and silent flight) and rotary wing aircraft (multi-rotor and conventional helicopter) from a 20 acre field with a mown take off and landing strip. The site has good vehicle access 365 days a year.

New Members:

PADMAC is accepting new members. We can provide training for those with limited experience of flying model aircraft. We also welcome those that want to get back into the hobby. Contact us to find out more.

2023 Annual General Meeting:

The main outcomes were;

• Jono Robertson has been elected as chairman.
• The rest of the committee remain unchanged.
• Will Pitcain has volunteered to be electric fence monitor.
• No change in PADMAC membership fees for 2024, (£30 for seniors and £15 for juniors).

BMFA Record Attempt:

PADMAC added six to the overall total of 2229 aircraft airborne at 182 clubs at noon on 14 May 2023.
